The dress I made last weekend. I'm calling it my Megan Corkery dress, styled loosely after the gorgeous dress Megan Corkery wore on country week of American Idol. The rockin' cool fabric was from the clearance table at Wal-Mart. I didn't use a pattern, just sort of cut it up and sewed it together, and ended up with this:
LOVE the dress..... How tall are you? You look very short in those pictures...
You are inspiring me to get busy and start sewing little girl outfits for Baby Lily..... I used to make all of my girls clothes when they were babies & toddlers... I mean, they're so dang easy!!
I've been called old fashioned. I'm a wannabe homesteader. I'm definitely a DIY-er. I knit, crochet, sew, grow food, cook, scrapbook, and shovel farm animal poo. I am a stay at home mother to two beautiful, homeschooled little girls.

That dress is awesome! You are so talented to just basically throw together a dress using material and no pattern!

Yep, I'm short. 5'3" in shoes. :o) Which pairs great with my 6'4" husband. LOL
You should make matching girl outfits AND a boy outfit. ;o)
